The projector, which features 800 x 600 SVGA native resolution, delivers 2000 lumens for clear images, deep blacks and solid color contrast. DLP technology with a 0.55 inch DMD panel and a four-segment color wheel, along with support for SXGA (1280 x 1024) resolution and 16:9 (widescreen) aspect ratio, make this projector a good choice for displaying film and other moving images. With a standard operating noise level of 31 dBA, the PD100 is unobtrusive and discreet. The Acer PD100 accepts connections from a variety of sources, including both PC and Mac computers, home entertainment systems, game consoles and more. The range of input types supported includes NTSC, PAL, SECAM, HDTV (720p, 1080i), EDTV and SDTV, making the PD100 one of the most versatile projectors on the market. The PD100 also features several presentation-enhancing convenience features such as Acer eView Management, eOpening Management and eTimer Management. Acer eView Management offers five preset display modes and one user-customizable setting for easy setup. eOpening Management allows personalized startup and standby screens, and eTimer Management displays a convenient OSD timer, to set reminders or keep track of time when making presentations.
