For superb brightness, the Sony portable projector uses Sony's original Virtual Light system with an all-new super high aperture liquid crystal panel and a newly developed ultra-bright 165W UHP lamp. An elliptical reflector provides an extremely smooth surface that collects light with exceptional efficiency, and a concave lens provides very small and precise light source. All together, these innovations give you a brighter, sharper, more eye-pleasing image.

Cutting-edge style, carry-on portability. With simple, elegant cabinet design, the VPL-CS5 takes projector styling to new levels. Just the buttons most commonly used are located on the sleek top panel, giving the cabinet a flat, smooth appearance and making it easy to handle when you're in transit.
