Which Size HDTV is Right for My Room? 
| With standard-definition TVs, the rule used to be that viewers would feel comfortable watching a set from a distance of 3 to 6 times the screen size in inches. With HDTV, the resolution is so much better that you can sit closer to a larger TV without noticing the pixels. So with HDTVs, the rule tends to be you can sit anywhere from 1.5 to 3 times the screen size (in inches) for the best experience. If you know the size of the room you have already, where you want to sit, and where your new HDTV should go once you get it, you can figure out the size HDTV you should get. - Minimum size = Viewing distance/3
- Maximum size=Viewing distance/1.5

Samsung LN22A650 22-Inch 720p LCD HDTV with RED Touch of Color Just like the description!! My opinion after doing alot of research before buying,reading editors picks, then buying and using, I give this HIGH End HDTV a AAA+ rating out of a scale of 1-10, I rate it a 8.5, the only cons I have found is the stand it comes with a fixed stand mount, and the tv will not rotate on stand, from side to side or up & down, with the tv on the stand the screen seem to be tilled down a little to much for me to be comfortable at a computer desk. I bought at the link below

The only other con I have found it only has 1 HDMI port, and I had to buy extra a HDMI 4 port switch, to hook up other HDMI components, also I hooked up HDMI port on my Satelite & another to HDMI to DVI on my computer for HD Format on my computer! With this 4 port switch I have endless HDTV via HDMI possible hookups! If it was not for these 2 cons I mentioned above, I would rate this TV a 10 out of 10 rating! |
